  • If you or your  loved one is unfairly facing a suspension of visitation rights, our program will help you challenge this decision. We will write letters, engage in communication with prison administrations, and advocate on your behalf to reinstate visitation privileges.

2. Inadequate Medical Care:

  • If your loved one is not receiving adequate medical care while incarcerated, we can help address this issue. Our program will advocate for proper medical attention and work towards ensuring their health and well-being.

3. Harassment or Abuse:

  • If your loved one is experiencing harassment, abuse, or mistreatment within the prison system, we will assist in documenting and reporting these incidents. Our advocacy efforts will aim to hold responsible parties accountable and ensure the safety of your loved one.

4. Unfair Disciplinary Actions:

  • If you believe that your loved one has been subjected to unfair disciplinary actions, we can help review the case, gather evidence, and advocate for a fair and just outcome.

5. Communication Barriers:

  • If there are issues with communication between you and your loved one, we can assist in addressing these barriers, such as difficulties in receiving or sending letters, phone calls, or other forms of communication.

6. Access to Educational and Rehabilitation Programs:

  • We can help ensure that your loved one has access to educational and rehabilitation programs that can aid in their personal growth and eventual reintegration into society.

7. Unfair Disciplinary Actions:

  • If your loved one is facing discrimination or other injustices while incarcerated, our program is here to stand up for their rights and work towards a more equitable and just prison environment

Thank You for everything

Love is limitless. Love in its purest and rarest form can be found anywhere and in anyone as long as two hearts are available."

My story is a bit complex and finding The Prison Wives Society was the calming and driving force behind me publicly and respectfully letting the world know my love, my man, and my life is not to be threaten. I reached out directly to their Instagram page and asked if someone could give me a call because I was at my breaking point. Shante R. reached out, and I spilled my heart to her about the situation I was dealing with. She immediately gave me some instant resolutions and told me that Shaunte S. follow up with the grievance process of their organization. Over the next few days, Shaunte S. and I communicated about how the grievance process works and what they would be doing on my behalf. They created an articulated letter and sent it to several different outlets, including some well seated dignitaries, the corrections department, and a host of others. Shortly after, I had an immediate
resolve. Let me tell you, "The pen is mightier than the sword." Shaunte S. is coming and coming strong with her pen game. I owe these two women and their organization two hearts (my love and I) of gratitude. They not only opened their powerful organization to me, but their grievance process gave me a voice. Thank you so much.

The Prison Wives Society advocacy efforts were nothing short of extraordinary.

Losing the ability to visit my husband in a New York prison for what seemed an indefinite period cast a shadow of despair over my life. However, the intervention of the Prison Wives Society proved to be the catalyst for a remarkable turnaround.

Skeptical at first, I hesitated to believe that anything could reverse the harsh decision that had separated us for two long years. Trusting my instincts, I reached out to the Prison Wives Society, and it was the best decision I ever made.

Their advocacy efforts were nothing short of extraordinary. They composed a compelling letter and tirelessly engaged with the prison administration on my behalf. Against all odds, their collective determination resulted in the reinstatement of my visitation rights.

This experience has been a testament to the power of community support and the impact of organized advocacy. The Prison Wives Society not only reversed a seemingly indefinite ban but also gave me the chance to reunite with my husband after years of separation.

I cannot express enough gratitude for the Prison Wives Society's unwavering commitment to our cause. Their support transformed skepticism into hope, showcasing the profound difference a dedicated community can make in navigating the complexities of the prison system.

In conclusion, the Prison Wives Society's triumphant advocacy has not only changed my life but serves as a powerful reminder of the positive outcomes possible through collective action and support. If you find yourself facing similar challenges, know that the Prison Wives Society can be a lifeline, turning despair into hope and separation into reunion.
